1. What are your nicknames?
Um? Jenn, Jenni, Jenny, Jen-nay(pronounced with french accent), Jenn-di-fer, Jenny-have-you-got-a-penny? (my brother is a strange man), Dubuda, Ginger (the girl's replacement for Dubuda, as it seems they are finally starting to outgrow it), Hei, Minion, and most recently? half my class of school agers calls me "Miss Sherry" >.>
2. What do you do before bedtime?
read. Later than I should.
3. Tell me about a hobby of yours most people don't know about.
No recent hobbies, though I used to collect random things. I had a rubber snake collection, a transformer collection, a model train collection, teddy bear collection, Hot wheels cars, dinosaurs, toy horses, rocks...(I was such a girly tom-boy)
...though I guess I still collect the rocks/fossils. Old habits die hard. Most of the interesting ones I find get put in a classroom though. saves space in my room.
4. What color of shirt are you wearing right now?
One of my rare white shirts, actually. It has a pirate skull and reads" the Floggings shall continue until moral improves."
5.What's your favorite television series?
Hard to say, actually. I like a lot, though I'm not following any at the moment. Doctor Who?
6. Have you ever been in love?
Nope, not in any rush to either. If it happens, cool. I see no reason to angst about it, waiting, though.
7. Do you trust easily?
Sometimes. I tend to be sorta paranoid, think I'm wrong, and trust people I don't really like. with mixed results.
8. Some more or less secret kink.
Um? light eyes on dark skin? contrast is *pretty*.
9. Is there anything that has made you happy these days? If so, what?
Hanging out with Ariel? I've been pretty stressed lately.
10. Would you change anything about your appearance?
All complaints aside, I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin. More muscle tone is always happy, but I'm too lazy to really work for it.
11. What are you wearing on your feet right now?
Barefoot, though I do have a flip-flop shaped tan line.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
www.livejournal.com...Insanejournal, too all else gets lost in the background.
13. What item do you own that you’ve had the longest?
Probably J-bear. It's a terrycloth teddy bear sewn by my grandmother for my first christmas. it's in the closet now, but it's in fairly good shape.
14. What’s your favorite junk food?
cookie dough. >.> and sherbet. though not together.
15. What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?
"Earth Angel" by Buddy Holly
16. One thing you never leave the house without?
Clothes. everything else is optional, judging from the amount of stuff I lose/forget.
17. What's better: to give or to receive?
I feel horribly selfish saying this, but receiving. Giving always involves the fear that maybe they won't like it as much as you thought.
18. What's the first thing you notice in people?
Hair or eyes, usually.
19. What could you not go without during the day?
Lately? sleep. I have never napped more in my life. Usually the answer is internet, though with iChat broken on my laptop (continually crashing hard drive) I am attempting to wean myself off, lest my computer totally die, and I be stuck with dial-up.
20. What should you be doing right now?
Sleeping. or showering. both are needed, but they both also mean waking up and going to work. >.> I sort of dread going to work and battling with my students. EVERYTHING is a battle of wills.

Date: 2008-08-07 02:43 am (UTC)Well, Doctor Who is the one that I'm actually following at the moment. I love Firefly dearly, (was having a discussion about it and ethics with Carver on Sunday) but I don't own it, and mama and to-san's DVD player broke, so it's been a while since I actually saw them. 'Bushwhacked' is still one of my favorite episodes of all time ever, though.
In other news: Angie just went to the hospital earlier tonight, actually. Unless she has a 48 hour labor, it looks like it's gonna be 8-7-08, though that's fun in it's own way, since Mama and Angie were both born on the 9th, and Chris' birthday is on the 7th. Tradition!
