I got accepted to Ball State! ::happy dance:: I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that. It would have majorly sucked to have gone through all the trouble of moving to Indiana, and then it all be for nothing. I would have been slightly tiffed. but yeah, I'm not sure if I've been accepted to the teacher's college yet, or if I'm going to have to take a test for that too. I start in the Spring Semester 2005, so I still have a while. yay for a chance to earn money (again, this last year hasn't been too productive on that count)

Another cool thing that happened today: A taikwan do (sp?) black-belt came and spoke to the kids. they *listened* to him. it would have been even better, but Murphy struck again. Destany was pulling one of her fainting fits, and I was picking her up off the floor, when I heard a rip. ::sigh:: those were my favorite pants too. at least the hole wasn't in a very noticeable spot, though I didn't pick up as many kids the rest of the day.

Thank you! now I just have to get: a laptop, scholarships, finanial aide, campus housing, $50 deposit, and admittence to the teachers college.... ::thumps head:: you go to college to get a good job, then you spend all the money from that good job paying for the college you went to. am I the only one seing the irony in this?

::sheepish look:: I can't help it if I'm a chronic worry wart! besides, I haven't always had the most stellar grades. If this had been anyone but me, I would be saying the exact same thing. and yes, I am a hypopcrate, I like me this way.

the hole was one inch, which is plenty big enough, thank you! at least it wasn't very noticable... unless people stare at my inner thigh..::paranoid look::
