How is it that vacations for me end in more work?
My family went camping this weekend with some of my parents friends. Now, I was the only person between the age of 18-35. that's ok... I talked anyways and hung out with my cousin. I helped fix dinner, did dishes, and fetched water as usual. when surrounded by adults talking about in jokes and such, I went to bed early.
The next day Mother was ill. She spent the whole day in bed, and I ended up cooking most all of the meals (with To-san as my minion), and still sorta ended up doing dishes and water fetching. All the while, adults were talking around me, past me, and rarely offering aid. I was glad the Cousin was there. If it weren't for her, I really wouldn't have had anyone to talk to. It was... awkward. I liked camping, but I really wish the other people hadn't been there. and that mother hadn't been ill.
Also: I forgot my hammock. ::sad face::
I'm really just starting to wish for a break. So that I could really sleep in for a week. ::sigh:: is that so much to ask for a summer break?
oh. and I re-take Praxis on the 2nd. so I get to add studying to the list of stuff I should already be doing.
My muse is barely twitching but I never have the energy to actually sit down and write anything... blarg.
