So this weekend has been exciting! Sister and Brother-in-law came, which is always fun. We saw Pan's Labyrinth and it was good. Serious, intense, and sad...but good. After that we went to the Herot, a nordic themed bar. I had hard cider and really good shepard's pie.
Sunday was olive garden and Happy Feet, which was much joy.
Then the snow came and school was closed for the first time in years. Snow emergancy was declared due to 32 mile winds and knee high snow in places. So what did I do? I played in it of course! A group of us decided "hey, it's a blizzard, school was canceled today....lets take a walk!" So we did. we walked for about an hour in knee high snow.
it was fun
The coolest part was that because I had no gloves on, I was mostly safe from snow boulders that Dan and Joe were chucking at each other.
