well, the nearest I can figure is that they are confusing "Miss Shelly" and "Miss Jerri", both teachers they have had this summer. I respond to pretty much anything other than "hey you", so I often forget to correct them when they call me "Miss Sherri". It confuses the heck out of the students that *do* know my name, though.
